The list of required documents varies depending on the University where you studied.
Generally scanned copies of all years’ Marks Sheets, Degree Certificate (Front and Backside), ID Proof, Passport or Aadhaar Card and Academic Request Form are basic documents.

Transcripts take about 7 to 15 business days after we receive the documents and payment. Please check for your university list in the MY UNIVERSITY page.

If your Transcripts process has not been initiated/completed, you can make the following changes to your order through MY ACCOUNT:
• Change your contact information
• Add a recipient
• Request sealed envelopes
• Change your delivery options
• Pay an open balance

Requests for other changes, such as adding or removing credentials, need to be made in writing using our contact form.
If your Transcripts have been completed, they cannot be modified, but you can request as fresh through My Account to:
• Add a completed degree, new courses, or a new credential

Source and recipient institutions have strict document requirements to issue Transcripts.
Applicants often send us documents which are either photos, blurred unreadable copies of the original, truncated documents with one of the edges and/or content missing, the scanned document is too small as compared with the original.
University Seal is truncated or missing.
Dark/light/shiny patches and shadow on the documents.
Any of the above documents are not fit to issue Transcripts and often lead to rejection and thus wastage of your valuable time and money.
To avoid this, we request you to send clear scan copies of the documents.

Often degree certificates and university-issued mark sheets for some institutes are oversized and don’t fit our normal home scanners. We advise you to take them to a business center like FedEx/UPS XEROX Machine stores or use a commercial scanner with document reducers. Take clear copies of the documents and send them to us.

Just specify the number of sets you want us to ship at each location and we will ship it to that address.

If you have multiple orders that need to be shipped to any international address, drop us an email at [email protected] and we will help you combine shipping for them, so you pay for shipping only once for the same address.

We advise everyone to order at least 1-2 extra copies for backup.

You may get these shipped to your home address in India, using our free shipping to 1 Indian address.

If you are entering an international recipient address, we will advise you to ship it to the institutes like WES/University directly, to avoid the package being rendered useless, if inspected by customs and hence wasting your valuable time and money.

Our Support group takes 2 working days to review your application and prepare the application package to be submitted to the University. University might take 3-7 working days to review, validate your documents and give us an expected date when your application will be ready.

We do not need your consent if we use special categories of your personal information in accordance with our written policy to carry out our legal obligations or exercise specific rights.

In limited circumstances, we may approach you for your written consent to allow us to process certain particularly sensitive data.
If we do so, we will provide you with full details of the information that we would like and the reason we need it, so that you can carefully consider whether you wish to consent. You should be aware that it is not a condition of your contract with us that you agree to any request for consent from us.

This is an optional form, WES does not create any issue on the transcripts which are received by the without forms, however, adding such forms adds value to your request and also helps the institutions to initiate quick service.

We recommend you to share us WES ref # mentioned on this form and make sure you also mention that on your transcript account as well.

According to the new policy, all the documents for the applicants in India have to be mailed directly to the WES by the institution that issues them. i.e. the institution has to mail your attested documents directly to WES in a sealed envelope with institution stamps/seals on the back flap.

The amount of time required to verify a document depends on the institution to which the request was sent.
Some institutions respond quickly but others can take several weeks to respond. If your account status is still “Waiting for verification from the institution” after seven weeks, please contact our customer service and ask for another verification request to be sent.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Check, Money Order, or Western Union. Detailed payment instructions are provided after submitting your application.

Yes, there is a processing fee for canceling your file or application.
Note: Completed process cannot be canceled and fees cannot be refunded.

Delivery time/period depends on the processing time from college or university to university. The processing also includes the application evaluation time and processing duration at colleges or universities. Normally, it takes one week to four weeks to get from university. Variation for expected date depends on the process duration from the source institute or University.

No, WES does not evaluate medical programs in Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha because they are not offered by regionally-accredited, recognized institutions in the U.S. or Canada.
If you have another academic study, please submit documents for that additional study. Follow the Required Documents instructions for the appropriate type of education.

Yes, WES can evaluate research-based programs. You can upload your degree certificate directly via My Account.
Either you or your school can send the Confirmation of Degree Conferral to form directly to WES in a sealed and stamped envelope.

WES has evaluated documents for thousands of individuals educated in India. If you attended a duly authorized and recognized institution, it is most likely that WES can evaluate your documents.

Usually, the year of the award on your WES evaluation report refers to the year you passed the final degree examination.

WES evaluates studies completed at Sikkim Manipal University from 2016 onwards. WES does not evaluate studies completed at Sikkim Manipal University prior to 2016. If your program was completed at this institution prior to 2016, do not include this credential in your application. If included, this will cause a delay in processing your evaluation.

WES accepts both consolidated transcripts and yearly mark sheets provided they are issued and sent by degree granting institutions and provide a full record of all completed coursework.

In August 2021, WES updated a policy for applicants educated in India. The update allows for applicants to send a sealed envelope from their institution directly
to WES. If the envelope has been opened, or if it does not have a stamp or signature across the back flap from an appropriate governing body, then it will not be accepted by WES.
Applicants can confirm their new eligibility by logging into My Account and reviewing their Required Documents. Previously, from December 1, 2018, the policy stated that only institutions could send academic documents (such as marksheets) to WES.

Additionally, WES has digital partnerships with a growing number of institutions in India. This enables those institutions to send academic documents electronically. Applicants should learn if their institution has a digital partnership with WES. If so, they should request that this method be used to send their documents. It is the fastest and most secure way to send documents to WES. If the institution does not already have a digital partnership with WES, then the applicant should encourage their institution to submit a Digital Partnership Form to initiate one.

An official document is a document issued by the authorized authority, such as the awarding academic institution, ministry, technical board, or other institution. It must include the institutional seal, signature of the appropriate official, and/or any other requirement listed on our Required Documents page for your country or territory of education.

Please be aware that this address is a document processing center, and there are no specialists on-site with access to information about the status of your report. No walk-ins are permitted, and as per govt. directives and as a preventive measure to tackle resurgence of COVID -19 we will strictly respect current public health guidelines. If the hold restricts the release of transcripts, your transcript cannot be released until the hold has been removed. Transcripts will not be issued until all financial obligations to the University have been cleared.

The best way to give permission for another individual to pick up a transcript on your behalf is to place your order online. Once at the Transcript Ordering Center: Select to have your transcript held for pick up, then in the “recipient” field type in the name of the individual (as written on picture ID) picking up transcripts for you. Your authorized individual will need to bring a photo ID in order to pick up your transcript.
