Due to increased fraud, WES has updated that from December 1, 2018, onwards WES will accept sealed envelopes that are mailed directly by the institutions themselves.

This means that WES will not accept documents sent by colleges, students themselves, third-party agents, or anyone else. Though this change is not marked in any of the other countries and has been specified only for India.

The rest of the procedure is the same as earlier you need to make the payment to WES to generate your WES reference number. Now it may happen that you may face some issues regarding sending the documents to WES directly by your institution/university, otherwise, you can still take service from FACTS Transcripts, they can coordinate with your University to have the transcript safely transmitted to WES.

Since after the WES update in 2018, FACTS has managed to support individuals exactly as per the WES requirements and it is proud to witness that none of the transcripts were rejected, as all transcripts are managed to go from the respective institution directly to WES.
