Official university-sealed transcripts delivered to WES, IQAS, ECE & credential evaluation bodies globally
RGUHS transcripts are issued by the Registrar (Evaluation) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru 560041. FACTS coordinates the full process for doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists and allied health graduates applying to licensing authorities, credential evaluation bodies and universities abroad.
RGUHS is unusual among Indian universities in how quickly it moves. In our case history it is one of the quickest Indian universities to issue transcripts, though the university does not publish a formal service standard.
This guide covers everything an RGUHS graduate is likely to need: what an RGUHS transcript actually is, who typically needs one, which countries and organizations commonly request it, required documents, the application process, sealed and international delivery, common mistakes, and answers to 20 frequently asked questions. If you need a different document, see our guides to the RGUHS Degree Certificate, RGUHS Degree Verification, RGUHS Medium of Instruction, or RGUHS ECCTIS Email Verification.
RGUHS Student Services
An RGUHS transcript is a set of attested, sealed photocopies of your marks cards and degree certificate, issued by the Registrar (Evaluation) and typically used for credential evaluation (WES, IQAS, ECE), professional licensing (Dataflow, CGFNS, PEBC), or university admissions abroad. Through FACTS, a complete file is usually processed in 1 to 3 working days, or around 5 working days where extra verification is needed; university and courier time are additional. If you instead need confirmation that a degree is genuine, see our RGUHS Degree Verification guide.

RGUHS does not print a separate transcript document. An official RGUHS transcript is a set of photocopies of your own marks cards and degree certificate, each attested and stamped by the university, then sealed in an envelope signed across the back flap by the authorised officer.
If a stack of stamped photocopies arrives rather than a printed record, nothing has gone wrong. That is the correct and complete document, and it is the format WES, ECE, ICAS, IQAS, Dataflow and the health regulators expect from Indian universities.
There is no electronic or PDF transcript at RGUHS. Hard copy in a sealed envelope is the only format issued. What is available separately is email verification, where a regulator or university writes to RGUHS to confirm your record directly. We arrange and follow up those requests.

The seal and signature across the back flap are what give the envelope its evidentiary value to a receiving organization. Treat it as tamper-evident packaging: once opened, most organizations will no longer accept it as valid.
There is no PDF or emailed transcript file. The one electronic option is email verification, where a regulator or university writes directly to RGUHS to confirm a record — a separate service from the transcript itself.
Sealed envelopes are dispatched by international courier once issued. Courier transit time runs on top of RGUHS’s own processing time and varies by destination country.
RGUHS affiliates colleges across nearly every regulated healthcare discipline, so transcript requests come from a wide range of graduates, each with a different typical destination for the document:
MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh, BDS, and MDS graduates commonly need transcripts for overseas medical or dental licensing, residency or specialist applications, and hospital credentialing. These applications often go through primary source verification bodies such as ECFMG/EPIC, the GMC, or Dataflow.
BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, GNM, and Post Basic BSc Nursing graduates frequently request transcripts for overseas nursing registration, often alongside a medium of instruction certificate, particularly for UK-bound applications assessed through ECCTIS.
B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and PharmD graduates typically need transcripts for pharmacy licensing pathways abroad, including in jurisdictions where PEBC or an equivalent regulator evaluates foreign credentials.
BPT, MPT, BASLP, and BOT graduates commonly need transcripts for professional registration or employment abroad, and allied health and laboratory science graduates often need transcripts for Dataflow or employer verification.
BAMS, BHMS, and BNYS graduates occasionally need transcripts where the destination country recognizes AYUSH qualifications, though recognition varies considerably and should be checked with the receiving authority before applying.
RGUHS graduates are mostly regulated professionals, so documents usually go to a licensing authority rather than only to a credential evaluator. The requirements differ by profession.
| Qualification | Documents usually required | Where they go |
|---|---|---|
| MBBS, MD, MS | Transcript, degree verification | ECFMG and EPIC, GMC, AHPRA, Dataflow for the Gulf |
| BDS, MDS | Transcript | NDEB Canada, Australian Dental Council, GDC |
| BSc and MSc Nursing, GNM | Transcript and medium of instruction certificate | NMC UK, with ECCTIS verifying directly by email, CGFNS and NCLEX, AHPRA, NNAS Canada, Dataflow |
| B.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Pharm | Transcript | PEBC Canada, Pharmacy Council of Australia, Pharmacy Council of New Zealand |
| BPT, MPT | Transcript | CAPR Canada, AHPRA Australia |
| BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and other AYUSH | Transcript, and verification where the destination accepts the qualification | Recognition of AYUSH qualifications varies considerably by country. Check with the receiving authority before applying. |
| Allied health and laboratory sciences | Transcript | Dataflow, employer verification, credential evaluation bodies |
ECFMG and EPIC for the United States, the GMC for the United Kingdom, the Medical Council of Canada, AHPRA for Australia, and the Gulf authorities — DHA and DOH in the UAE, MOH, SCFHS in Saudi Arabia — usually through Dataflow primary source verification. Most of these verify with the university directly rather than accepting documents from you, which is where the email verification route matters.
NMC UK, CGFNS and NCLEX for the United States, AHPRA for Australia, and NNAS for Canada. UK applications very often need a medium of instruction certificate alongside the transcript, and ECCTIS assessment. This is the single most common RGUHS request we handle.
The National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB), the Australian Dental Council, and the GDC for the United Kingdom. NDEB requires documents sent directly by the university.
The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC), the Pharmacy Council of Australia and the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR), and AHPRA for Australia.
WES, ECE, ICAS, IQAS and the University of Alberta for Canada and the United States; ECCTIS for the United Kingdom; NZQA for New Zealand; ZAB for Germany; CIMEA for Italy; QVP where required. These apply where the purpose is immigration, further study or employment rather than clinical licensure.
The sealed envelope must reach the receiving body directly from the university. Opening it to check the contents invalidates it, without exception and with no way to reseal. If you want to see what is inside, ask for a scanned copy at the time of issuance.
RGUHS graduates relocate for work, study, and licensing across a wide range of countries. Requirements are set by the destination country and the specific organization involved, not by RGUHS or FACTS, so the table below describes typical use cases rather than fixed rules.
| Destination | Typical Purpose |
|---|---|
| Canada | Credential evaluation (WES, ICES) and professional licensing (PEBC, CGFNS) |
| Australia | Registration with AHPRA or further study |
| United Kingdom | Employment, NMC registration, or education, often with ECCTIS assessment |
| United States | Credential evaluation and licensing (ECFMG/EPIC, CGFNS) |
| New Zealand | Registration or immigration |
| United Arab Emirates | Employment, typically via Dataflow (DHA, DOH) |
| Saudi Arabia | Professional licensing, typically via Dataflow (MOH, SCFHS) |
| Qatar | Employment-related verification |
| Oman | Professional verification |
Requirements can change, and not every graduate applying to a given country needs the same documents. It is worth confirming the exact document list with the receiving organization before applying.
A quick way to check which RGUHS document applies to your situation:
| Your Need | Typical Document |
|---|---|
| Immigration | Transcript |
| Professional licensing | Transcript and Degree Verification |
| WES credential evaluation | Transcript |
| DataFlow primary source verification | Degree Verification |
| CGFNS (nursing credential review) | Transcript |
| ECCTIS (UK ENIC) assessment | Email Verification — see ECCTIS Email Verification |
| PEBC (Canadian pharmacy licensing) | Transcript |
| Proof course was taught in English | Medium of Instruction |
This is a general guide, not a substitute for the exact document list your receiving organization has given you. If you are unsure whether you need a transcript, a degree certificate, or degree verification, contact us with the request you have received and we can advise.
Applicants may apply directly to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Based on our operational experience, direct applications often take around 15 to 20 working days, depending on university workload and follow-up requirements.
FACTS prioritises document preparation, verification and university coordination, and eligible priority RGUHS transcript cases are typically completed within 1 to 3 working days. Timelines may vary depending on document completeness, university holidays and verification requirements.
FACTS does not issue transcripts. RGUHS does. We prepare, file and follow up the application under your written authorisation and arrange dispatch of the sealed envelope the university produces.
Drawn from our own case history at RGUHS. Not guaranteed by the university, and counted in working days from the point a complete document set is accepted. Courier time is additional.
| Situation | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Complete marks card set, records held by RGUHS | 1 to 3 working days |
| Additional verification or extra documents required | Around 5 working days |
| Email verification for a regulator or university | Handled separately alongside the transcript |

| Name or date of birth correction needed | Correction first, then transcript |
| Apostille or attestation after issuance | Additional, varies by destination |
Coordinating an RGUHS transcript for a regulated healthcare qualification often means dealing with multiple parties at once — the university, a credential evaluator, and sometimes a licensing authority. FACTS handles that coordination on your behalf.
We check your marks cards and degree certificate before filing, so avoidable gaps are caught early.
We file your application at RGUHS and follow up in person rather than leaving it to sit in a queue.
We keep you updated on where your file stands, from filing through to dispatch.
Once the sealed envelope is issued, we coordinate international courier dispatch with tracking.
Sensitive academic records are handled by a dedicated team familiar with RGUHS’s specific process.
Beyond transcripts, we handle degree certificates and degree verification for the same graduates, so related requests do not need a different provider.
University information was checked against the RGUHS official website and University Grants Commission records. The 1996 establishment and the transfer of health science colleges from the conventional universities are set out in the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act 1994. Regulator and evaluation requirements are set by those organisations and change from time to time; confirm the current position on their own websites before dispatch. Processing times are drawn from our own case history and are not published or guaranteed by the university.
What we cannot control: the availability of authorised signatories, discrepancies between your documents and the university record, regulator processing time after delivery.
FACTS Transcripts and Verification Inc. is an independent document procurement service. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. FACTS has successfully assisted 8,000+ doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with transcript, verification and documentation services. Every document below is obtained from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore directly and dispatched sealed — to WES, ECE, IQAS, ECCTIS, ZAB, NZQA, a university, an employer, or to you.
FACTS document processing time: 5–7 working days*
*This is our internal processing time, once all your documents and payment are complete. University processing time is additional. Incomplete documents are the single biggest cause of delay. University-side and evaluator-side processing times (WES, ECCTIS, ZAB and others) are set by those bodies, not by FACTS. We confirm exact cost, timeline and the document list by email before we begin.
FACTS obtains the official sealed transcript directly from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and dispatches it according to the receiving organisation’s requirements. A sealed transcript is what WES, IQAS, ECE, CES and foreign universities require — an envelope you seal yourself is rejected.
WES will not accept a transcript that you send them yourself. It has to arrive from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore or from an authorised representative, in a sealed envelope. FACTS sends your Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore transcript directly to WES with your reference number on it — the single most common thing applicants get wrong.
An MOI letter from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore confirms your course was taught in English. Universities abroad, immigration authorities and credential evaluators frequently accept it in place of an IELTS or TOEFL score. It is a separate document from the transcript and we can obtain both together.
Employers, background-check firms and immigration authorities verify degrees directly with the issuing university. We handle the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore verification request end to end, so the confirmation reaches the verifying body from the university rather than from you.
A genuineness certificate is Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore confirming in writing, under its seal, that your academic records are authentic. It is frequently required alongside a transcript for immigration and professional registration, particularly in the Gulf.
A migration certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore releases you to enrol at another university or board. Many institutions ask for it at admission, and most graduates only discover this at the last minute.
If your Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore marksheet or degree certificate is lost or damaged, the university can issue a duplicate on a documented application. Older records take longer to retrieve. Send us your roll number and year of passing and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Some evaluators and employers ask for the convocation (original degree) certificate rather than a provisional one. If you never collected yours from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, or it was never issued, we can obtain it.
ECCTIS, formerly UK NARIC, verifies Indian qualifications for UK visas, employers and universities. It requires documents direct from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. We prepare and submit the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore verification so it is not returned for incomplete documentation.
ZAB is Germany’s Central Office for Foreign Education, and its Statement of Comparability is required for German university admission and many work visas. ZAB verifies directly with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. We handle that correspondence.
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority assesses overseas qualifications for immigration and study. NZQA requires documents authenticated by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. We obtain and submit them.
Qatar’s Qualification Verification Process requires your Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore degree to be verified before employment or professional licensing. The verification is done with the university, not with you. We manage the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore side of it.
Mosadaqa is Kuwait’s degree attestation and verification route. It requires confirmation directly from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore together with attestation of the underlying documents. We handle both.
MOFA attestation — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp required across the Gulf — sits at the end of a chain: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore verification, then state or HRD attestation, then MEA, then the embassy, then MOFA. A gap anywhere in that chain sends the file back. We run the whole chain.
For Hague Convention countries, an apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs replaces embassy attestation. It still requires your Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore documents to be verified and attested first, in the right order.
A growing number of evaluators and universities accept — or now require — transcripts sent electronically by the university. Where Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore supports it, this is faster and cannot be lost in the post.
Through FACTS, 1 to 3 working days for a complete file, or around 5 working days where extra verification is needed. RGUHS is quicker than most Indian universities in our experience, though the university does not publish a service standard. Courier time to your recipient is additional.
No. As of August 2026 RGUHS issues transcripts only as hard copies: attested photocopies of your marks cards and degree certificate, sealed in a stamped envelope. Email verification is available separately, where a regulator or university writes to RGUHS to confirm your record directly.
Yes, and for most regulators it must arrive directly from the university rather than from you. Have your Dataflow, NMC, NDEB, PEBC or WES reference number ready before dispatch, because the envelope cannot be matched to your file without it.
Yes. We handle Dataflow primary source verification for RGUHS graduates, coordinating the university side of the process and the dispatch of the documents Dataflow requires. Requirements differ between the Gulf authorities, DHA, DOH, MOH and SCFHS, so tell us which one you are applying to.
Usually the transcript plus a medium of instruction certificate, and often ECCTIS assessment. The medium of instruction certificate is the part most often forgotten.
Internship certificates are not included in the RGUHS transcript process. If a regulator separately requires internship documentation, it must be obtained independently from the relevant institution.
RGUHS does not normally include syllabus or course content documents as part of transcript issuance. If your regulator requires these separately, FACTS can advise you on the appropriate process.
Yes. A signed authorisation letter is enough, and we provide the template. This is how every overseas RGUHS application we handle works. You do not need to grant power of attorney or travel to Bengaluru.
Yes. Scans of your documents and a signed authorisation are enough. You should not have the sealed envelope couriered to you abroad if it is destined for a regulator, because it must arrive directly from the university.
Yes, and you should if more than one body needs your documents. Each set is sealed in its own envelope and serves one recipient, so a nurse applying to both NMC UK and CGFNS needs two. Request them together at the application stage, because ordering more later means repeating the process.
Duplicates must be obtained from RGUHS first, which adds time. Tell us at the enquiry stage so both run as one sequence rather than discovering the gap midway.
We quote per case, because cost depends on the number of sets, the documents involved, whether duplicates or corrections are needed, and where the envelope is dispatched. Send your documents by email or WhatsApp and we will give you a specific figure and timeline before you commit.
RGUHS is an affiliating university, so it typically retains central academic records for its affiliated colleges even if a specific college has since closed, merged, or been renamed. If your college is no longer active, RGUHS is generally still the right university to approach for your transcript.
A name change can usually be accommodated, but you will typically need to provide supporting documents such as a gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit linking your old and new names, alongside your usual transcript documents.
Some organizations request both at once — a transcript for the academic record and a separate degree verification to confirm the qualification is genuine. Whether you need one or both depends on the specific requirement stated by the requesting organization. See our RGUHS Degree Verification guide for more detail.
Yes. Many nursing and healthcare graduates request an MOI certificate alongside their transcript, particularly for UK-bound applications. See our RGUHS Medium of Instruction guide for what this certificate covers.
RGUHS transcripts are issued as attested photocopies of your marks cards and degree certificate, sealed in an envelope signed across the back flap by an authorised officer. Opening the envelope generally invalidates it for the receiving organization, so it should only be opened by the intended recipient.
Yes, sealed envelopes can generally be couriered internationally once issued. Courier transit time is additional to RGUHS's own processing time and depends on the destination country and courier service used.
No. A transcript is your detailed academic record, while degree verification is a separate confirmation, carried out directly with the university, that a specific degree was genuinely awarded. Some processes require only one of these documents, and some require both — see our RGUHS Degree Verification guide.
This is uncommon but can happen with older records or where a college has closed. In these cases, RGUHS may ask for additional supporting documents, such as your original mark sheets or admission records, before it can proceed.
