Official university-sealed transcripts from the Examination Branch, delivered to WES, IQAS, ECE and credential evaluation bodies worldwide

University of Delhi transcripts are issued by the Examination Branch, under the office of the Controller of Examinations. FACTS coordinates the full process — from application preparation and document compilation to university follow-up and sealed dispatch — for graduates, postgraduates and research scholars across all DU-affiliated colleges and departments.
Delhi University runs an online transcript system through its dedicated portal. The application and fee payment are handled online; the transcript itself is issued as a sealed physical document. FACTS has established contacts across both the North Campus and South Campus examination offices, and our team follows DU files through to release — which matters most at the verification and sealing stage, where applications can sit without active follow-up.
A convocation certificate from the University of Delhi confirms your participation in the convocation ceremony. Some employers and institutions require it alongside the degree certificate.
The University of Delhi (DU), established in 1922 under the Delhi University Act, is one of India’s foremost central universities and among the most recognised higher education institutions in Asia. Located across its North Campus on University Road in Delhi and the South Campus on Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi, the university has grown from three affiliated colleges at its founding into a sprawling academic system encompassing over 80 affiliated colleges, 86 departments and 16 faculties.
DU holds NAAC A++ accreditation with a CGPA of 3.55 — upgraded from A+ in its most recent cycle — and was ranked 5th among Indian universities in the NIRF 2025 rankings. It carries the Government of India’s Institution of Eminence (IoE) designation, placing it among a small group of Indian universities recognised for global-standard academic and research excellence.
The university offers more than 500 academic programmes across undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels. Its affiliated colleges — including St. Stephen’s College, Hindu College, Miranda House, SRCC, Lady Shri Ram College, Hansraj College, Ramjas College, Gargi College and Kirori Mal College — are individually celebrated as among India’s finest undergraduate institutions. DU operates on a semester system and has transitioned to the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) framework with the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF 2022) and Postgraduate Curriculum Framework (PGCF 2024).
For transcript and document verification purposes, DU’s Examination Branch — headed by the Controller of Examinations — handles all transcript issuance for degrees conferred by the university, regardless of which affiliated college the student attended, unless the college holds autonomous status.
Your transcript comes from the University of Delhi Examination Branch if the university conducted your examinations — which is the case for the large majority of DU graduates. It does not matter which college you attended. Whether you studied at Hindu College, Miranda House, Hansraj, Gargi or any other non-autonomous DU college, your transcript is issued by the university, not by the college.
A small number of DU colleges hold autonomous status and conduct their own examinations. If your college was autonomous during the period you studied there, the college — not the university Examination Branch — may be the issuing authority. Check the header and authorising signature on your mark sheets.
The School of Open Learning (SOL), now known as the Campus of Open Learning, is a constituent school of the University of Delhi. Degrees earned through SOL are conferred by the University of Delhi, and the transcript process is the same as for regular college students. There is no difference in the standing or format of the transcript.
The University of Delhi Examination Branch operates from two locations. If any in-person step is required — such as collecting your sealed transcript — you go to the branch that corresponds to your college:
The online application process is the same for both campuses. FACTS serves students from both North Campus and South Campus colleges — our established contacts cover both examination offices.
The following fees are published on the official DU transcript portal:
| Category | Indian | International |

| More than 6 years from last exam | Rs. 1,500 | US$ 150 |
| Additional copies (per copy) | Rs. 100 | US$ 10 |
| Fast Track (additional) | Rs. 2,000 | US$ 50 |
| Postage within India | Rs. 500 | — |
| Postage outside India | — | US$ 50 |
These are university fees set by the University of Delhi and may change. FACTS service fees are separate and confirmed by email before we begin. All university fees are non-refundable.
University processing: 21 working days (normal) or approximately 10 working days (fast track, subject to prior approval and supporting evidence of urgency). The fast track fee is non-refundable even if the application is processed under the normal timeline.
Through FACTS: Approximately 15 working days for end-to-end coordination — application preparation, submission, university liaison, collection and dispatch. Actual processing time may vary depending on record availability, document completeness and the university’s current workload.
What affects timing: Older records requiring archive retrieval; incomplete subject names (DU rejects abbreviations); discrepancies between application and university record; fast track without evidence of urgency; examination season workload; and international courier delivery time.
University of Delhi has separate online portals for several document services. FACTS has strong, established contacts across these offices and helps students navigate each process — particularly those who are abroad, facing delays, or whose applications have become stuck.
Degree Attestation: DU’s degree attestation is handled at Rs. 500 per copy. FACTS coordinates the registration, application, payment and collection.
Marksheet Attestation: Rs. 500 per copy (non-refundable), issued from the respective examination branch after approximately seven working days.
Duplicate Degree Certificate: Rs. 1,000. Requires an FIR, verified application from your college principal, and the prescribed online form.
Duplicate Marksheet: Rs. 500 per copy with supporting documentation including an FIR for lost documents.
Stuck Applications: Students whose applications have been pending, returned for discrepancies, or stuck without response can approach FACTS. Our established contacts across the DU examination offices allow us to follow up actively and work toward resolution.
Share your mark sheets, degree certificate and identification with FACTS. We prepare the application, compile all supporting documents into the required single PDF file, and ensure full subject names are written out — DU rejects abbreviations.
We review every document against the Examination Branch’s requirements — checking subject names, marks consistency, and document completeness — before submitting the online application through the DU transcript portal.
FACTS follows up at the Examination Branch through our established contacts across both North Campus and South Campus offices. The university’s stated processing time is 21 working days for normal applications. Through FACTS, end-to-end coordination typically takes approximately 15 working days, though actual time may vary.
Your transcript is sealed by the Examination Branch in an official university envelope, stamped and signed across the back flap. FACTS arranges collection and dispatches the sealed envelope directly to WES, IQAS, ECE or your specified destination with your reference number included.
Transcripts are usually used by candidates to apply for permanent residency, higher education, visa, H1B, immigration etc. If you are applying for WES evaluation (ECA) for job, education or Canada PR, you need to apply for transcripts from your university, unless your college is Autonomous.
Each set of transcripts/attested mark-sheets from University of Delhi is issued in a separate sealed and stamped/signed envelope. As such, if you apply for 3 sets of transcripts from University of Delhi, you will receive 3 envelopes, each containing one set of transcripts.
For transcript requests, University of Delhi processes applications through its Registrar/Controller Of Examinations. University of Delhi transcripts are accepted by major international credential evaluation agencies, including WES (World Education Services), ECE, IQAS, and NZQA, for academic and immigration purposes globally.
FACTS provides end-to-end assistance for University of Delhi transcripts—managing the application process, coordinating with the examinations office for timely issuance, and arranging secure international delivery. Transcripts can be sent directly to WES, foreign university admissions offices, or immigration authorities, as required.

We obtain your consolidated marksheet transcript from the University of Delhi Examination Branch, sealed and stamped by the Controller of Examinations. A sealed transcript is what WES, IQAS, ECE, CES and foreign universities require — an envelope you seal yourself is rejected.
WES will not accept a transcript that you send them yourself. It has to arrive from University of Delhi or from an authorised representative, in a sealed envelope. FACTS sends your University of Delhi transcript directly to WES with your reference number on it — the single most common thing applicants get wrong.
An MOI letter from University of Delhi confirms your course was taught in English. Universities abroad, immigration authorities and credential evaluators frequently accept it in place of an IELTS or TOEFL score. It is a separate document from the transcript and we can obtain both together.
Employers, background-check firms and immigration authorities verify degrees directly with the issuing university. We handle the University of Delhi verification request end to end, so the confirmation reaches the verifying body from the university rather than from you.
A genuineness certificate is University of Delhi confirming in writing, under its seal, that your academic records are authentic. It is frequently required alongside a transcript for immigration and professional registration, particularly in the Gulf.
A migration certificate from University of Delhi releases you to enrol at another university or board. Many institutions ask for it at admission, and most graduates only discover this at the last minute.
If your University of Delhi marksheet or degree certificate is lost or damaged, the university can issue a duplicate on a documented application. Older records take longer to retrieve. Send us your roll number and year of passing and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Some evaluators and employers ask for the convocation (original degree) certificate rather than a provisional one. If you never collected yours from University of Delhi, or it was never issued, we can obtain it.
ECCTIS, formerly UK NARIC, verifies Indian qualifications for UK visas, employers and universities. It requires documents direct from University of Delhi We prepare and submit the University of Delhi verification so it is not returned for incomplete documentation.
ZAB is Germany’s Central Office for Foreign Education, and its Statement of Comparability is required for German university admission and many work visas. ZAB verifies directly with University of Delhi We handle that correspondence.
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority assesses overseas qualifications for immigration and study. NZQA requires documents authenticated by University of Delhi We obtain and submit them.
Qatar’s Qualification Verification Process requires your University of Delhi degree to be verified before employment or professional licensing. The verification is done with the university, not with you. We manage the University of Delhi side of it.
Mosadaqa is Kuwait’s degree attestation and verification route. It requires confirmation directly from University of Delhi together with attestation of the underlying documents. We handle both.
MOFA attestation — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp required across the Gulf — sits at the end of a chain: University of Delhi verification, then state or HRD attestation, then MEA, then the embassy, then MOFA. A gap anywhere in that chain sends the file back. We run the whole chain.
For Hague Convention countries, an apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs replaces embassy attestation. It still requires your University of Delhi documents to be verified and attested first, in the right order.
A growing number of evaluators and universities accept — or now require — transcripts sent electronically by the university. Where University of Delhi supports it, this is faster and cannot be lost in the post.
The University of Delhi’s stated processing time is 21 working days for normal applications and approximately 10 working days for fast track (subject to prior approval and supporting evidence of urgency). Through FACTS, end-to-end coordination typically takes approximately 15 working days, though actual time may vary depending on record availability, document completeness and the university’s current workload. International courier time is additional.
The university charges Rs. 1,000 for applicants whose last examination was within 6 years, and Rs. 1,500 for those beyond 6 years. International applicants pay US$ 100 and US$ 150 respectively. Additional copies cost Rs. 100 (US$ 10) each, up to 5 per application. Fast track processing requires an additional Rs. 2,000 (US$ 50), non-refundable regardless of outcome. Postage: Rs. 500 within India, US$ 50 internationally. All fees are non-refundable. FACTS service fees are separate.
Yes. FACTS coordinates the process so that transcripts are dispatched from the University of Delhi Examination Branch to WES, IQAS, ECE, ICES, CES or other evaluation bodies, with your reference number included.
If your college was autonomous during the period you studied there, the college — not the University of Delhi Examination Branch — may be the issuing authority. Check the header and authorising signature on your mark sheets. If the University of Delhi is the examining body, the transcript comes from the university. Send us a photograph and we will confirm.
