Standard Clarification on Official University Transcripts

This section is provided to clarify the format, validity, and acceptance of official university transcripts issued by Indian universities.

Universities such as Mysore University, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, Gulbarga University, Madras University, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh, along with most other state and central universities in India, issue transcripts only in one standard, attested format.

Key Points to Understand

• University-Issued Format Only:
  
  Transcripts are issued strictly in an attested format, consisting of authenticated mark sheets and/or consolidated academic records, signed and sealed by the Registrar (Evaluation) or the authorized university authority. There is no alternate, redesigned, customized, or purpose-specific format issued by the University.
  
  
• No Customization for Employers or Hospitals:
  Universities do not modify or reformat transcripts to meet the preferences of hospitals, employers, licensing bodies, or individual organizations. Acceptance of transcripts depends entirely on the internal policy of the receiving organization, not on the University.
  
  
• Uniform Procedure for All Candidates:
  The same transcript format is issued to all candidates without exception, irrespective of profession, designation, or status. This is the official and final transcript recognized by the University.
  
  
• Our Role as a Service Provider:
  Our responsibility is limited to applying for, collecting, and delivering the transcript exactly as issued by the University. We do not alter, redesign, customize, or influence the transcript format in any manner.
  
  
• About Designs or Alternative Formats:
  Any document claiming to be a “different format transcript,” “custom transcript,” or “redesigned transcript” is not a University-issued document. Indian universities generally do not issue transcripts in multiple designs or layouts.

Conclusion

If you have received an attested transcript issued and sealed by the University, you already possess the official transcript as defined by the University itself. There is no alternate version that can be issued.
