WES GLOBAL Talent Bridge

If you have been considering ways to promote economic inclusion and workforce integration for skilled immigrants and refugees in your community, now is the time to act! The Skilled Immigrant Integration Program (SIIP) is still accepting applications for its sixth cohort until August 23, 2023.

SIIP offers an excellent opportunity for cities, regions, and states to develop initiatives that facilitate the successful integration of internationally trained immigrants and refugees into the workforce. By joining SIIP, your community can receive valuable support, including customized training, coaching, and technical assistance, designed to advance sustainable inclusion efforts.

**The Application Process:**

Communities interested in applying for SIIP can choose from two focus areas:

1. **Developing Initiatives in the Field of Immigrant and Refugee Economic Inclusion:** This focus area aims to foster innovative strategies to boost economic opportunities for skilled immigrants and refugees, helping them fully utilize their expertise and potential.

2. **Creating Strategies to Promote Employer Engagement:** This focus area concentrates on building strong connections between skilled immigrants, refugees, and employers, bridging the gap between talent and job opportunities.
